Tenchi Muyo!
Is the OVA Series of Tenchi. It had Tenchi as the grandson of Yosho The Jurian Prince that was to wed Princess Ayeka, but he stayed on earth where he fell in love with an Earthling.
They had Achika, Achika had child with Nobuyuki, that child was Tenchi. Tenchi meets a interesting cast of characters (Which appear in Tenchi Universe, and Tenchi In Tokyo) such as Ryoko The Space Pirate, Washu The Mad Scientest, Ayeka First Crown Princess Of Jurai, Sasami Second Crown Princess Of Jurai, Mihoshi The Dumbest and funnyiest Galaxy Police Officer, and Ryo-Oki, who can transform into a powerful spaceship
The two most popular sagas through Tenchi Muyo where Kagato, and The Dr.Clay Saga.
Tenchi meets all the chracters in different ways. He meets Ryoko when intruding a tomb, Ayeka who was in search of Ryoko, Washu who was in Kagato's ship, Mihoshi who got sucked in a energy portal, Sasami who came with Ayeka, and Ryo-Oki who hatched from a egg. The two most Popular characters where Ayeka and Ryoko, becuase they both wanted Tenchi the most. One of my favourite episodes was the last Ep13 mainly because of the introduction to so many new characters
